![]() Heritage received the firearm on April 22, 2022. I asked for nothing extra, just replace what i had paid for.Purchased firearm Jan/Feb 2022 (22lr/22 magnum) 9 shoot revolver (purchase price approx $220.00)Firearm malfunctioned so I shipped to Heritage with copy of purchase receipt from the *** (receipt included name, phone # and address of dealer). Anyone can have a mistake, i just wanted the company to make it right. This started out with a firearm that failed after firing 27 rounds. I tried different adjustments on it and tried firing it and it fires on 3 cylinders and not on the other3. I have the gun in my gun safe and it still doesn't work. I asked to speak to a manager but they said since my gun was out of warranty the manager couldn't help me. I told them that they are selling defective firearms and should replace them at no charge. They would Fix it for a Bench fee and pre-paid shipping with would total more than I paid for the firearm. I called Heritage and they said my gun was out of warranty even though it had never had 1 bullet fired from it. No luck I took it into my workshop and I began loosening the screws on the bottom of the handgun and when I loosened the s**** on the right side of the trigger guard the hammer dropped. I worked the hammer back and forth to see if it would work maybe it was just a fluke. Pointed it a safe direction I pulled the trigger and the hammer dropped half way. I took the gun from the box, made sure it wasn't loaded and cocked the gun. ![]() I took the firearm out to show my grandson how to handle a firearm safely. The gun in question sat in my gun Safe for about a year still in the original box. I am disabled and I am not able to shoot as much as I used to. I purchased a Heritage "Rough Rider" 22 caliber revolver in April 2021.
